My great grandfather was Fredrick Tarrant. He married my gr grandmother, Eliza Jones Brown in Illinois after her first husband, Wm. Brown was killed in a farming accident. My grandmother was Sarah Louise Tarrant, who married Charles Perry Williams. The information I have is that Fredrick Tarrant was born at Stratford on the Vale, Berkshire, England on may 15, 1824. He left England June 18, 1853 and came to Catlin, Il. Mr Tarrant died December 16, 1896
